Hello,

what are you using like GUI/Frontend for Mame? I used mamepgui and gmameui but they are no more maintened/developped and no compile/launch anymore with Ubuntu Oneiric.

Use QMC2. It's the best one there is IMO: http://qmc2.arcadehits.net/wordpress/about/
