Thanks for the reply jwsicomputing, I've just installed GDM so I really don't want to use lightdm just yet, I installed ubuntu tweak, the picture loaded into the program but not at log on. I wonder if this has something to do with no log out, and not being able to boot into a new kernel. ???? Regards Miykel
Installed the lightdm manager but no good, didn't work, The log in theme is gnomedm not lightdm, is there anyway i can turn gnome off.
