Ok, I guess I am the only one suffering from this obsessive compulsive battery icon annoyance. It so ugly!

The battery indicator on lubuntu quantal looks like what I expect. Haven't tried -2D on this laptop lately since lubuntu is running just fine, waiting for the next "update break".
