I think there's enough feedback in that thread to have a good idea of what needs to be done. Since it would be a good idea to have 2 admins working together, liasing in irc while making the changes, and since both Elfy and I are both willing to do this (we've been discussing this), we live in the same time zone and can make ourselves available for the couple of hours it might take, I propose that Elfy and I get on with it.
It would be a good precaution for us to hook up with a sysadmin in #canonical-sysadmin before starting, so that we can get them to restart apache if (when) lingonberry and bilberry get out of sync.
Also – we would need to post an announcement/notice/whatever warning forum members of the changes.
I'll try to collate all the suggestions in the thread with Elfy, make a map of a proposed revised layout, and post this in the thread for final comments before we start – if the FC agrees to all this.
