We're going to invest some time working on the forums mobile theme css. It'd be super helpful if people could post screenshots from your phones / tablets so we can try to tweak it so it looks okay on the majority of devices.

I think the button sizes are too big for mobile (for example, on a tablet, I'd probably use the full site), and there's some issues with avatars and reply buttons displaying strangely
It looks odd to me on my ZTE Warp (rooted and running a custom rom, if that matters)
Dunno what the deal with the grey + white stuff in that viewed thread is though.
It's certainly usable on this old crock (Nokia E63).
I agree with joeb454 about the button sizes, especially with a screen smaller than you android/iphone-wielding types have.

Note: this is Opera Mobile, not the built-in Symbian webkit browser. I can upload some of those later if you want.
The forum doesn't look to bad on my transformer prime, using mobile mode. I'm running ICS and using Chrome instead of the default browser, as some sites see as it being an out of date version of Safari. :)
I should also add the screen is 10".
