Now now, the only username abuse that should be going on is for people that are either spamming with questionable usernames...or really, really difficult "customers" that request their accounts deactivated ;)

What was the hacker title? At one time, there was a listing for what color identified what position. LoCo mod, Mod, Admin, Dev, etc. Purple was tagged as a hacker - suggesting that only someone who hacked their username color would have a purple one. Some staff have had purple usernames on occasion - and I recall an event where someone received a pink one...
