Enlarge swap in Bodhi

am having one little hiccup though (which I guess I should and will post to the Bodhi forum but will also ask here as I am already signed up and signed in) I need to repartition to enlarge my Swap from the Bodhi default of small. when I boot to Bodhi Live though, Gparted is not standard. But when I install it temporarily and then run it, I am told I need Root Privileges. how do I get Root Priviliges temporarily running Bodhi Live. (I would rather not have to create another USB bootable version of Linux, like Lubuntu or Wubuntu, from which I was playing with Gparted to begin with.)

Bodhi is based on Ubuntu LTS. To become 'root' you have to use 'sudo'.
