Just installed Mint Cinnamon today on my SSD instead of Ubuntu 14.04. The first thing I find is that I can't wake the machine up after I choose suspend. This feature always worked fine in Ubuntu. The OS asks me for my p/w and then shows the time in big letters on a greyed out desktop but that's all it does. I have 3GB of Swap file space for it I hope that's enough, I do have 6GB RAM on the MB.

I have the BIOS set to S3 suspend as I always did. The system now is Win 7 and Mint, no longer a triple boot. Needless to say that suspend/sleep or hibernate work fine in the MS OS.

Is there a setting in Mint that I am missing for this to function?

Thank you,

J T
