Hey guys, so I'd like to get involved with the development of Ubuntu Phone/Tablet and I wanted to be able to actually run the apps on a device (as opposed to the emulator). I noticed that all of the tests listed on the Ubuntu Wiki have been done with the Google Nexus line, so I was considering buying one to load it with Ubuntu and then run any apps I work on from there. Has anyone tried this? And if so, is it worth it to do that or should I just wait until Ubuntu makes its way to mobile devices in the USA?

Better here in our spanking new forum section for Ubuntu phones and tablets. ;)
Haha alright. I was going to put it here but I wasn't sure if this was a support forum or not so I figured I'd play it safe :)
All good. This one's more for support than the other really (Mobile Technology Discussions). This one is also specifically about support for Ubuntu phones and tablets rather than discussion re. any phone or tablet. From this section's description:
Support for smartphones, tablets, and anything to do with Ubuntu mobile technology.
Good luck. ;)
Sounds good, thanks!
