I'm attempting to fastboot flash a CM12 kernel w/ kexec hardboot patch via the android debug bridge (adb) within Android SDK platform-tools.
Trying to get the "MultiROM" app installed so I can try out the Ubuntu Touch ROM as a secondary ROM to give me a dual boot Z1 compact... along with the opportunity to try as many others as I like in a multi-boot environment as I only possess one smart-phone and that needs to be operational quickly if i need to make a call or do any of that other mobile stuff we do as part of being human nowadays.... ;)
Installing the said kernel with it's patch is proving to be a challenge I'm failing at... even tho it should be straightforward.
XDA have a forum for EVERY model of device known to man and this means generally only people with the same device frequent the forum, but of course that means the number of people on each forum is heavily reduced because everyone is spread out.... so thought I'd try over here for a bigger pool of talent hoping it'll be spotted sooner rather than later and someone can offer some help.
