I've not had any problems with my Ubuntu phone until I tried to change the language from English. Everything seemed fine at first until it tried to restart, now it gets stuck on the orange spinning logo and will not move on no matter how long I leave it or if I try to restart it.

I'm unsure what to do next, I get the feeling it might require a factory reset?

Regards.

Sorry I can't help with the actual problem, but you might do better asking on the Ubuntu Phone & Tablet support forum.

Or better still...

Thanks for the link March, that is spot on and more importantly it has the link to the instructions on how to reset it http://askubuntu.com/questions/602834/how-to-reset-bq-ubuntu-phone-when-gui-is-inaccessible

I checked the official user manual but it only tells you how to do it within the phone. It only took a couple of minutes.

EDIT: and just for anyone interested I tried to select the language I was trying to switch to (Turkish) straight after the factory reset but I still got the same problem so it seems there is a problem with the language itself.

I'd suggest checking launchpad if there exists a bug report and perhaps create one.

Did your phone work after factory reset?
