I was having a look at ubuntu phones and there seems to be only two that are talked about one being the bq and the other being the meizu and I cannot find any details for the meizu (besides specifications) for release date or where you will be able to buy or where it could get shipped to. (new zealand?)

They were going to be announced at the mobile world congress. MWC or the like.
Mark Shuttleworth, the owner of Canonical, has just held a Q & A session on Ubuntu On Air and he was asked this question. He does not know the answer. It is not for him to say.

He did say that in this year a Ubuntu phone will be released that will also give us a converged desktop experience.
