I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 tablet. It has a full version of Windows 8 on it. It has 25 GB of flash storage and Windows uses 15 GB of it! I need to just wipe it and switch to linux and hopefully I can get more use than less than 10 of my 25 GB storage.
I can't figure out how to get Ubuntu on it. It has one mini USB port and no CD ROM. I've tried creating a bootable USB Ubuntu drive but I can't get it to boot off the drive. (The usb disk has the mini interface so it plugs in and reads in Windows fine.) I found some instructions to go through the Windows settings to the boot settings and I can reboot and get it to allow me to select to boot to USB, but then the tablet reboots and never finds the usb drive. I've tried turning uefi boot on and off secure boot on and off. Can't seem to get it.
