Whenever I want to view video, pictures, music, etc. I just want to view what's on the device and the micro SD card.

I don't want the system to go off to Flickr, YouTube, Spotify and all the rest of that stuff. I just want the phone to stay local.

How do I do this please?

I managed to get the phone connected to wi-fi, at which point it updated and there was, "dash search" in the security and privacy setting ... but now I can't find, "developer mode" which I think I'm going to need in order to do things like changing the bluetooth name, etc.

I'm really missing a "short left to right swipe" in order to go from a sub-setting menu, up to another level of a menu ... it's forcing me to stretch my thumb to the top left, or else do a long edge swipe from the left, which also brings out the shortcuts, and then a short right-left swipe to put the shortcuts back away again.

And no matter how often ti turn it off, "App Crashes and Errors" keeps turning itself back on again. What's the point in giving me control over my privacy if the phone is just going to ****-a-snook at me and deny me anyway.

Developer mode is at the bottom of the About this Phone page. I assume your talking about the E4.5

Thanks! Yes, the e4.5 - There was an update which altered a few things, and I've lost a few icons. Plus after the update, the Wi-Fi MAC address also appeared in the about page.
