Phone was turned on from the box this morning and updated to 14.10(r21) - App icons for Calculator, Camera, Camera, Music, Reminders, Twitter and Weather went blank.
Any ideas please?

I don't know the cause, but I have seen the problem for those, plus gallery.
It's a known bug. As I remember you have to reinstall them.
Just a couple of questions to clarify: 1) I take it you mean "reinstall the affected applications" rather than reinstall an icon set. 2) Is there a better way to reinstall than "uninstall" and then "install" in the app store?
