I'm not sure if this is something for the phone/apps or the service provider.
Is it possible to block unwanted (spam) calls in Ubuntu? And if so how?

Thanks, I'll give that a try when I'm somewhere that I can connect the phone to the internet.
When I try to download, it goes through the various steps of getting the file, but then complains that there is no App to handle that type of content. Likewise if I download to a PC and copy the .apk file onto the phone, the file manager doesn't know what to do with it.
So *in absentia* any instructions -- I can't find any on the site, I can't see a way to install the package.
In the description (also on the Google play page) it says that this requires Androis 2.2 or higher. I'm not sure if the mentioned site (even as it has the name Ubuntu in it) is providing apps for Ubuntu touch.....??? Somebody any ideas? Somebody who tested any of the apps mentioned on this site?
Are you sure Ubuntu phone can run APK's right now? From my understanding, there is no standard way to run APK's in Ubuntu Touch unless the developer of the android app porting it to Ubuntu Touch.
