Hey guys, there's this old Android that I have and I wanted to install it on the Android. I don't know if I can do it and/or how to install it if impossible.

Ubuntu Phone (and tablet) are analogue, hardware objects in the 'real world', not software. I think you are after Ubuntu Touch or Ubuntu Snappy, which is the software designed for phones and tablets, and no, I don't think you can install either on old Android hardware. A bit of research on Ubuntu Touch and Snappy will shed further light ...
Snappy is still very much in development but it is getting there.

Snappy Core looks like it will be implemented for the 16.04 release, but there is a 15.04 version to play around with as a virtual machine using KVM. Be aware that this is not near the finished product.
I have a Raspberry Pi sitting there doing nothing and if I had the time I'd give it a whirl.
I am relatively new to ubuntu yet I am recently shedding light on the ways that I can operate on its lightweight effectiveness. I am an owner of a DROID 4, one of the last android cell phones out that was manufactured with a slide-out keyboard. This feature cell phone also came out with a lapdock which I am hoping to feature ubuntop in a finalized fashion.
I have yet to root/jailbreak my android but it is my hope that after getting xubuntu on my college laptop from 2005 and a solid 64-bit operating system with ubuntu I can interlace the cell phone capability to function better as a mobile companion.
An overview of so far what I have come across along the way of looking into these systems, I have read about individuals who took time to make an operating system during the time that this particular model of mobile device dropped on the market back in 2008 or '09. It was called ubuntu Touch, a palm compatible OS for persons who were running on a tablet. The links seem to have been taken down. I am still using this cute phone and dealing with the lag in hopes of making something like ubuntu Snappy happen

It was not Ubuntu Touch. The Ubuntu phone OS once called Ubuntu Touch and now called Ubuntu for devices was not around in 2008 0r 2009. Are you thinking of the Motorola Webtop application?

When the user plugs the Atrix into the netbook accessory docking connector, it will start up the embedded WebTop software environment. The WebTop platform is based on the Ubuntu Linux distribution. The user interface consists of the Firefox Web browser, a dock based on the Avant Window Navigator, and a handful of components adapted from the GNOME desktop environment. It has custom theming that prominently features black gradients.

I am a native windows/Mac user and I recently have been brought to these devices through a determination to grow with them. Ubuntu has proven to be a useful tool since I revived my College laptop into a fully working Inspiron 700m again.

@grahammechanical Interesting article, I liked its supreme beauty and delicate embellishment upon some of the more intricate deeper mechanisms within Webtop. Yes, I plan to in fact use this, to answer your question. The Motorola Atrix is a perfect assimilation in terms of hardware, I am hoping to accomplish this feat. For now my lapdock sits on the table and is a miserable slow piece of WiFi equipment. The phone is not much better, but then again I am recently looking up more articles on chroots and jailbreaks

CONCLUSION: Recently throwing a lot of my ubuntu ideas in the trash. My tower even freezes up. Going to learn the hot-keys and find a Galaxy on Craigslist or somethin'
