Just to let you know, forum performance might take a significant hit over the next few days even going down as it has done for 2 hours today.
Canonical are aware of the issue and are in the process of resolving. One of 2 app servers is out of action leaving the other unable to cope with the load at times.

Might the hardware issue have had anything to do with the intermittent lockups we've been getting?
I guess time will tell.
Thanks for the warning, tho' I haven't noticed any worse-than-usual slowdowns (yet!)
