You need to add it in the plugins list. I take it you did nto read the release notes for 0.40/0.41...

If you read it, it will explain everything..

How are you getting the larger icons on the applications section? I tried using the icon setting in gconf but it keeps defaulting back to 2.

** edit * Never mind .. I guess the last patch changed something.. now the key in gconf works for me.. set it to 4 and works great. ****
