Adding items to Places Menu

Ok, as the title suggests, im having difficulty adding items to the places menu, am i being dumb?

could some one tell me how?

Open any "open dialog", like in gedit. Then browse to any directory and click "add" on the left.

EDIT: Oops I didn't saw it was in USB forum :neutral:

Pin the menu (small icon top left) Drag items into menu Un-pin menu

This is in the docs on the first thread :-?
