Meeting: Saturday December 9th, 4-6 PM

The next Ubuntu Utah meeting is scheduled for Saturday December 9th, 2006 from 4:00 - 6:00pm in the Salt Lake City Library, third floor meeting room.

The topic will be "Debian Package Creation" presented by Joseph Smidt and Christer Edwards.

Breakdown of the meeting will be roughly as follows:

Joseph Smidt:

• History of APT
• Debian Package Maintainer Guidelines
• Ingredients of a .deb package

Christer Edwards:

• "Lab" - Building a package

Unfortunately, I will be unable to make it. A friend of mine adopted a child, and my wife and I will be celebrating his 1st birthday. However, I hope someone takes good notes, so I can follow up on the meeting later. This is something that I am really interested in.
