This sounds like a fun activity. I'd love to collaborate on something like this with folks. I have a Digital8 video camera, and am proficient enough with Kino that I think I could reasonable handle shooting and assembling some or all of this.

Hay, if a Commercial is made, please make a dialup version. All to often i'm unable watch anything on youtube except a 3 second clip that takes 10min to download.

Hmm, back in the day when I had dialup, I was able to watch YouTube-quality videos with minimal lag. Are you on a 56K or 28K?
This commercial idea sounds interesting, although I am webcam-less. I'm going to check newegg soon for a cheap one.
I think this a really good idea. Where would we place it? Our new website could be one spot but I am wondering if theres a spot where it could be shown on the ubuntu website or whatnot. i know we could stick it on youtube and other video websites. I know we would never have enough luck/money to have it shown on TV or anything ;) I dont even know the process for anything like that.
