My family lives up that way. They live in Horseheads. I'd move back if I was convinced my wife wouldn't freeze to death.

I don't really mind the snow. If my yard is going to be brown and dead, let it be covered. Of course, my driveway is not very long and my drive to work is pretty short and entirely on well plowed roads (Central Ave, Northway), so my perspective is a bit biased.
But, you're right. The weather has been really bizarre this fall. It felt like it was 70° on Sunday . . . in December.

Rochester NY, 4 hours away. But I went to High School in Albany... a long time ago. Christian Brothers Academy! And my parents still own some property south of Albany in Athens NY.
