I have a neighbor who doesn't know how to use Mac OS X, and would prefer to run Windows XP instead... is this possible?
(I would try to convert her to Linux, but she runs a lot of Windows exclusive software that doesn't run too well under WINE. =p)

I've just been told this is impossible on another forum. Unless I use an emulator and that would make things too slow. Ignore this thread. Thanks!
What you heard is correct. It wont run at all unless you use emulation which would be painfully slow.
What spec is the Mac. Maybe trade her or take it off her hands.
moving to Mac OS X discussion
Get your neighbour a book - OS X isn't difficult to use. Besides, even if you put Linux onto it, you still wouldn't be able to run Windows programs through Wine.
