I wanted to start a thread so that we could talk about this more here. I think the idea is super. Can we form a team and start with one library system and see what their thoughts are. I know a few Librarians in Denver and could put a few calls out to them to see who or what angle we can take.

Supposedly, a few members of coloco are already going into libraries and asking them questions about what their needs are and how they use their current systems, etc.
They should be posting results to the mailing list once they are done... I am hoping to go into a few local libraries on saturday to do my end of the research.
I also submitted a proposal to Ubuntu Live for presenting about this issue, since our team seems to be the first really targeting it I figured the information would be good for everyone else who will be attending the conference. Hopefully we can get a good solid presentation and maybe even a test machine image ready by then. :)
