With the newest ALSA version (at least I think it's there where they changed something), the speakers are not anymore controlled by the Side channel, but by Center (left speaker) and LFE (right speaker). Midi sound (from timidity) has to be controlled directly through the speaker channels, so I can't just change the PCM volume. With the hotkeys I can setup one channel to be changed, but not both at a time, that only works with the volume control icon.
So how can I change either the timidity settings so it can be controlled through PCM, pommed to change two channels at once, or, using one channel (probably called Speakers) to control the internal speakers?
