All my desktops on beryl look the same. Is there any way to customize individual desktops on my cube to accommodate diffrent tasks such as work, school, entertainment etc.? I would like to change each desktop to have its own desktop icons, background and menus. I'm running kubuntu edgy and beryl 0.2.0 if that helps.

Yes! Open "Beryl Settings Manager" and go to "Desktop Background". Check the box "Desktop manager supports viewports". This will allow a different background on each side of the cube.
I have had problems with my rig freezing when this box is checked and I rotate the cube, however.
I have already tried this method and it just gives me blank desktops where my 2,3,4 desktops should be. Does beryl have any conflicts with my kde manager when it comes to managing diffrent desktops?
