I just installed Beryl using this guide: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=263851
When I start beryl-manager, all the eye candy seems to work fine, except for one problem - no menu bars! There are also other problems (opening a terminal just creates a white square window that can't be used) I think beryl-manager must make GNOME stop working. How can I fix this?

I have the same problem. Right after downloading Beryl I tried opening the terminal and just a plain white box which you can't type in. ](*,)
