OK, I am currently waiting on the mailing list to be set up as well as trying to set up the Alabama page in Launchpad, so we can keep a central list of members and track our progress. I will let everyone know when I get this complete. I am hoping someone will help me out soon with this and wee can get the ball rolling. For now just be sure to post here and check out the https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AlabamaTeam Feel free to add yourself to the list there if you wish. Or let me know and I can add you. Also be sure to hang out in the #ubuntu-alabama channel on irc.freenode.net. If no one is there just hang out and there will be soon enough. I try to hang out there as much as possible.

Update I have the launchpad page set up. Please register at launchpad then be sure to visit the Alabama Team page and join the them!

How about ol' SABAN!? I got a Nick to T-Town shirt at Bama Fever :-P.

#5

I think he will do better than Shula. Can't wait to see the BAMA and L.S.U game. :) Tuberville vs Saban can't wait for that either.:) ROLL TIDE ROLL!!

#6

Yep, I predict first an SEC championship, then a NC, not really, but, maybe if we get lucky :-P

#7

Well, I hate to be a party pooper but let's just see how things go with Saban and company this first year. He's gotta get his feet wet with a good old fashioned Auburn whippin' first. LOL Yup...War Eagle!

Actually, I'm looking forward to Saban's take on things. Should be a really good year for Alabama. I'm hoping so anyway.

If I can be of some help (newbie that I am with Linux/Ubuntu) toss my name in the ring too.

#8

Well there, well have to see about that now won't we? Cause in my mind....... THE TIDE IS GONNA ROLL ON AUBURN THIS YEAR! Course.. I will be regretting that in September probably, but oh well :-/

#9

I am interested in joining. Please add me to the list.

#10

I would love to join you all.

Cool, again, everyone be sure to go register at Launchpad. Just look in the top right hand corner and click the log in/Register link. Once you register (be sure to tell alittle something about yourself and set up you page) jump over to our page https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-us-al and join the team. I will add those registered at launchpad to the Alabama Team page on Ubuntu's wiki. Your free to edit it as well to add yourself or correct anything that I may have screwed up. The Ubuntu wiki will be the one that we will keep our projects, meetings, and info on as a reference for everyone.

Been awful quiet around here lately. Ya'll been spending time on the beach or what?

I've signed up as well and am waiting to be approved. I'm in Opp, AL. I had not idea there was an Alabama Ubuntu Team. Nice ;)
