Last night I installed Wine, and well I had to install Warcraft III and Starcraft truly the only reason in the world I needed a Windows box. They played so perfectly and at the resolutions I wanted that now my transformation is complete. I'm 100% Linux and I hope never to return to the dark side.

So what other games have you tried in wine and what are the results.....I tried Halo and it didn't work out so hot.....

I have been a huge WoW-o-holic in the past, but I was strong enough to say stop before it took my life down the drain

Warcraft 3 does play well on Wine. I found I had better results though, when I installed on Windows and copied the files.

At first sound was giving me crap, but then I set the HW acceleration to Full in winecfg and it runs just as well as on Windows..even the big battle scenes :)
