Feisty Release Party Upstate NY!

[SIZE="4"]I would like to announce the upstate NY release party for Feisty on Saturday April 21[/SIZE]

It shall take place in the city that houses the international headquarters of Kodak and Xerox. The city with the beautiful High Falls and the one and only Tahous restaurant. [SIZE="3"]Rochester NY![/SIZE]

Everyone who lives between Syracuse and Rochester should attend, and:

• Meet fellow Ubuntonians
• Share your Ubuntu stories
• Upgrade your install, or install it on a friends computer
• Discuss future possibilities, events and more
• have a great time!

We should hold a meeting no later than Tuesday. I know that it's short notice, but it's worth the hustle.

Edit: You need to register for the installfest with LUGOR at http://www.lugor.org/ifest2007/ that is taking place from 9am to 3 pm. We'll meet at Jitters Café afterwards for trivia (with prizes) and to talk about open source. This should take about an hour or two and we would wrap up at around 5:00. I may hold a separate Pub Crawl if anyone is interested.

I know I'm way late, but I wish I had seen this before. I just never have explored the local forums before. It's kind of funny because my girlfriend works at Jitters Café.

Hey! YES another ROCHESTER user. We've seriously got a lot of Ubuntu users up here. Apparently someone was handing out a bunch of shipit CD's on RIT's campus, and most of the guys in LUGOR use it... and I've been slowly converting everyone I know.

Well, stay posted man, and then our next release party up here will be pretty sweet!

And I'll be in Rochester when school starts, so chalk another one up. ;)

but.... you're going to the U of R aren't you? that's like.... a 20 minute drive from Jitters... through some monster traffic... probably a half hour if you fog it. I live in the city itself which is at least 3 times as far away and I get there faster because the highways are like... 80 miles an hour average speed... when going against the wind...
