I just noticed it's after midnight in Australia, making it Thursday there. Does that mean we can start downloading Feisty from the Australia mirror?

Give it a try and let us know!

I have a feeling they will put it off until at least it is midnight where Canonical is (Isle of Man) or later (until it is midnight at the International Date Line?, Alaska? Hawaii?)

Actually, it looks like it's available whenever they decide to change the page so you can select to download 7.04 (it specifies 6.10). Oh well.

#3

Well, that would be awesome!!! Try and tell us if it is possible ;)

#4

My guess is, NO!

Canonical will take each remaining hour to tweak everything. They will make certain that it is as perfect as possible.

Me, too!

I am using Feisty and it is working perfectly.:D No updates for almost two days. The last update that I had was for "Banshee", my favorite music player.

Yep, same here everything seem stable after the fixed kernel and no updates after that except banshee with orange splash now. So they just testing now, and there is possibility there will be no more updates and we are running the latest version already.

Rats, no 7.04 download button yet. Can you tell I was the kid in the back of the car who asked "are we there yet? on the family vacations.

And-- yikes!--I had no idea these posts to the little Connecticut forum were being read out in the big forums--Alabama? Colombia? Yikes! :lolflag:

This morning I was going to post something smart-#ss but then I realized it was 2am and realized I was actually tired instead. :lolflag: Happy Downloading!

EDIT: Wow! Just realized the Ubuntu page still shows "Countdown to 7.04" and "Release is Tomorrow" ?! Did I go through a time-warp and nobody told me already?!!

I tried getting downloads started on various mirrors and the best I could do (by html, no bittorrent) was 128kb/sec from one of the 2 Australian sites, for an estimated time of 1hr 15 mins. You might do better than that this evening (when it will be the wee hours of Friday down under).
