:-)

Hi guys, first of all I beg your pardon for missing the meeting, but it was too late or me.

Well... I know we must trey to solve all the problems in unaswered questions, but when I see a post like following, I think I could slap him on the nose :-) The forum is an open forum and everyone can write, but enough is enough, IMHO. Of course I'm writing this ONLY on this forum and this is only a vent.

I'd say try to be as helpful as possible when dealing with it, but if the poster starts to complain too much then you could be a bit more strict. Remember to ultimately keep it in line with the UF Code of Conduct. You don't want to start a flame war.

Jacob Absolutely no! What I mean is that lot of people are brainless and think that they can ask whatever they want everywhere.

If I want to start a flame, I flame with my daugther. :-) On work I'm professional, in case of flame I leave the flamer alone.

Yeah, I see what you mean in that case. Still, it kind of seems like those kinds of topics are the spark for a flamewar at times, which is what we want to avoid. I guess you can "be evil" in those situations. If it gets out of hand though, just use the report post feature.

Can you explain?

The button at the top-right of all posts, the Report button. If a topic does happen to go into flamewar status, just use that to report it. Hopefully that won't be a problem though. :)
