[Meet and Greet]("https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ConnecticutTeam/Projects#head-ee08b4c44ce68cf77a03aa36e1c780188b12cb1e") GOAL: Organize a meet-and-greet, somewhere centralized for interested participants. According to the Frappr Map, Meriden is looking to be fairly central of people's homes. This is a great project for a number of people to join in on to coordinate scheduling, location, getting the word out, taking RSVPs (if decide to go that way), etc.

Well sure, Meriden is close, but I'm still holding out hope our friend from Jamaica will host one...

Anyway, I'm game, someone declare a time and place and I'll be there!

let's get this thing going!

What is going on with the meet and greet?

Meriden is a good location: where in Meriden would we set up?

I would be happy to help determine the location; what are the criteria?

Are we talking about a restaurant? Or maybe a motel room with plenty of wireless access? Somebody's home?

What kinds of activities are we considering?

Looks like this forum is not too alive. I suggect sending private messages. We should have maybe an email list so messages would be pushed to mailbox, insted of visiting here once a month just to see that there were 2 messages in past month.

I may be up for participating in this. Though I am an extreme newb user who just likes to piss around to gain a bit of knowledge.
