Hi all,

First up: The Community Council formalized our existence at this morning's meeting. Yay!

DC LoCo Team Meeting

Next: The FOSSED conference at Gallaudet in August... There hasn't been as much interest as anticipated, partially because we've held off on advertising, waiting for a more finalized schedule. It looks like we work with the schedule we have, til something better comes along. That schedule is at:

I'll do what I can to show up, but that's well on the otherside of the beltway. pencil me in.

If folks have any thoughts on agenda, post 'em here. I'm not saying we'll GET to them, but at least we'll be aware of what we're ignoring. ;-) My big ticket items are going to be trying to make sure we have all our ducks (and disks) in a row for FOSSED, and Takoma Park Folk Festival.

It has been suggested that we move the meeting to:

Taste of India, 2621 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20008 near the Woodley Park/National ZooMetro stop (Red Line)

If you have a preference for Rio Grande, reply to the mailing list.
