Hello all,

Is it possible to create a slideshow with still images to put on a DVD in Linux? I would like to pan, Zoom, and rotate, also would like to be able to create multiply video and Audio tracks. I know this has been asked a million times. But I only work with still images and can't seem to find anything that seems to work. I do have Cinelerra, but I am lost in this thing(can't seem to add multiply images to one video tract and/or pan/zoom/rotate the image). So if Cinelerra can do what I'm looking for is there a howto geared towards still image slideshows for it?

I used Sony Vegas in windows, if that helps. Sorry First Time on Ubuntu/Linux. Any Help/Suggestions is appreciated!! Pater

You can make a DVD slideshow using mandvd I didn't try it yet, but it is reported to work. I must say I really don't know about panning, zooming and the like, but this app can manage pictures, define show time, add music

Hi - I just tried dvd-slideshow worked perfectly first time!

step by step here: http://dvd-slideshow.sourceforge.net/wiki/Complete_Example I only made two changes: -p option to make sure DVD was PAL not NTSC (I am in UK) and I used k3b to burn the ISO to DVD

only problem is that it is all command line, but some may say that this is an advantage!!!
