i have finally launched oblivion by hitting play in wine. i get to the character creation screen but it always locks up there. the graphics are terrible also on this screen. the picture of the character is surrounded by black and jumbled pixels of varying streaks.
all help is appreciated
Correct me if I'm wrong but I would post this in the Gaming & Leisure part of the forum.
You might want to make sure you have the right graphic card driver installed.
You need HDR and bloom disabled. UseGLSL enabled in the registry. Your graphics card drivers installed. Pixel shaders turned on in winecfg.
