USB audio cards that work out of the box

I need to know if there is a USB audio card with MIDI in/out as well as audio in/out that I can use with by just plugging it in. I want to make sure I get the right card before getting into Ubuntu Studio :)

Or if no cards just work by plugging in, which one is the most supported or easiest to work around/configure with ubuntu stidio.

It has to be USB/Firewire/PCMCIA since this is for a mobile laptop solution. :popcorn:

I use a Presonus Firebox and it almost works out of the box (there is one little bug with permissions in Feisty that you have to sort) It only has to be fixed once...
