I have decided to schedule the first UBuntu-IE Loco team meeting for Sunday next the 10-06-2007. It seems that notifying every Irish user on ubuntuforums.org wont be possable, so were going to have to go with the word of mouth option.

I have created an agenda located here on the Ubuntu-ie wiki. Please add topics to this page that you wish to discuss about at the meeting, note ONLY topics mentioned on the Agenda prior to the start of the metting will be discussed.

I would like to have a voluteer to chair the metting, nothing hard to do, just bring the attention back to topic if we start to wonder. I've volunteered myself to take the minutes of the IRC meeting and note any further action or follow up topics that will go directly into the topics of the next agenda.

If you cant make the meeting you may wish to add the topic and voice your opinion in this thread.

PLEASE LOG ONTO THE CHANNEL ON FREENODE TO #UBUNTU-IE, IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW PLEASE POST HERE AND WE WILL GUIDE YOU.

AudioMove: no problems!

We can still have an unofficial meeting, though. Just a general discussion about future projects etc.

So, if you have a few minutes to spare join us: #ubuntu-ie on irc.freenode.net (at 7PM?)

We'd like to know what's going on

I would also like to have at least 1 IRC meeting a month, or every second Monday of the month [-o<

What do you think?

the servers which host the loco sites are being transferred to different servers so downtime is expected.

as for the irc meetings, im sure people can manage at lease one meeting a month.

good idea - we should organise something in the near future :)

#18

we should definitly have more regular meetings, etc. sites still arnet working..................

#19

www.ubuntu-ie.org has been transferred to a new hosting centre, and a new website is being worked on.

I sent an email via the mailing list

http://groups.google.com/group/ubuntu-ie

What's the progress on the new website?

#21

Access has been given - website can be uploaded after it's finalised.

Previews will be shown via IRC I guess.
