Having trouble with a Dimension 3100 and a 7.4 disk

Hi

I am trying to install Ubuntu 7 on my 3100, but whenever I try, I find that 2 green Loading prompts appear at the top of the screen, one slightly obscured at the left. This is with all install possibillitys, and the only thing that works is Mem check :KS Any advice would be appreciated. Also, This is on a Attempted MultiBt Scene, but it still d'aint work without. We can't even get live :p

Can you give us more detail on these mysterious loading prompts. When do they happen? Can you explain them in more detail?
