Well I've been experimenting with Ubuntu, Kubuntu, and UbuntuStudio. I still don't know what I'm really doing but one problem I've come across is the proper installation of graphics card drivers. The main issue being the black screen hang on system start up (which is what I get). Is there a way to undo the damage in the recovery mode because I've tried several different 'solutions' for my ATI Radeon Xpress 200 G Series to no avail.

Another thing that was frustrating was I had to search through the ATI forum thread for 1002:5954 so that I could find the fix for my card (didn't work for me) which took me a while to find. Does anyone know if they are going to make this information easier too find such as a wiki; they have a wiki for daaper but not feisty fawn.
