If I remember correctly, Chuck had mentioned the possibility of IRC meetings in addition to the regular monthly meeting. I've recently had a change in my work schedule and I may not be able to make all of the monthly meetings, so I was hoping that we'd be able to meet on IRC every two weeks or so just to catch up on what's going on. Or maybe even once a month. Besides, I think it'd be nice to have a way for newcomers to get acquainted with the Maryland LoCo team.
Any thoughts?

I think this would be a great idea. Did you have a preference as to when it would be held. If memory serves the poll result was for Wednesday evenings. Just keep in mind that the second Wednesday of the month is the CALUG meetings.

I personally don't have a preference but if Wednesdays were previously agreed upon then that's fine with me. So if we're avoiding the second Wednesday of the month, then that leaves the first Wednesday or the fourth Wednesday. This excludes the third Wednesday because I don't think it'd be very helpful to have an IRC meeting the day prior to the monthly IRL meetings. If you wanted to space it out equally, then the first Wednesday of the month would probably be best. This would mean we'd have a meeting roughly every two weeks.

First Wednesday of the month (not including tomorrow) sounds good to me.
