Never going to learn code. I just search and search, read and read, then I copy and paste into terminal and hope for the best.
Something needs to be done about Evolution and Gnome. A new user is crippled if they click on an email link, (other functions are involved as well) in a browser because Evolution opens, but it has to be set up to function properly. It takes a real newbie almost more effort than it is worth to set up.
Sound card setup needs to be coordinated with the drivers on the ALSA list. There seems to be no reason why this process could not be automated. The drivers are written, why are they not installed at setup, or at least installed by a prompt and an internet connection?
Good work to this point to the whole Ubuntu team.
