I noticed that we have seven members sitting on the #ubuntu-wisconsin channel.
Do we have any plans for a team meeting? Do we have an agenda for the group?
With some members willing to participate at the birth of the group it would be good to capitalize upon it. :)
I agree. I am currently in #ubuntu-wisconsin channel and no one seems to be checking it. :) I think we should schedule a team meeting so that we will all know when to check the channel. I would say next week, but I will be leaving for a two week trip with my family on Monday.
Barring anyone else taking the initiative (and please feel free to do so) does Wednesday August 23rd at 9:30pm sound feasible? Possible ideas to discuss at the meeting:
1) Ways we can get the word out to others about Ubuntu.
2) Projects/Goals that we could work towards as a team.
3) Organizational structure. (Do we need to assign a few go to people for important stuff)
4) Add you own ideas here....
Lets get the ball rolling!
If time becomes an issue for a meeting on IRC, we could always have a thread created where everyone chimes in with their ideas.
The time you mentioned will work for me.
I think number two on your list is really going to be the big issue to discuss.
I am not sure if uberushaximus has anything going on for a website, but maybe I will just try to get something together soon and host it on one of my four boxes. I will just use a free domain from DynDNS or something and we can get opinions and ideas for it.
Anyways, herteljt, if nobody else, I will see you on IRC and we will throw around some ideas.

All you need to do is bookmark the Wisconsin LoCo Forums and check it frequently to stay updated. :)
