Ok, we have a couple quotes from places to make up Ubuntu T-shirts for the group to be worn at events. The T-shirts would be as follows:
5180 HANES 100% BEEFY-T®
6.1 oz., 100% ring-spun cotton (Ash 99% cotton/1% polyester, Light Steel 90% cotton/10% polyester). Double needle hems. Taped shoulder-to-shoulder.
Sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL
Color: White
We haven't finalized exactly what's going to be on them but there will be a color ubuntu logo on the front and back. Possibly "ubunu" under the logo on the front and a small phrase having to do with ubuntu on the back.
The bottom line, how much would each person be willing to pay? Right now I have a first time cost of $18 per t-shirt. This is because they need to make up the screens for the colors which will be $200. I am willing to put up the money for this one time cost to bring down the cost for everyone else. If people were to pay $15 per t-shirt it would cover the cost of the shirts and pay me back about half of the screening cost which is fine by me.
So bottom line, I would like to throw $15 out there per t-shirt. Going forward if/when we get more members and we need to order more, we could lessen the cost or put the extra money toward the group to help pay for cost of installfests and other events.
Let me know what you guys think. This is sort of an ASAP thing so please post your responses if you have them :)
