Would you like a new LP logo for your LoCo?

I have created our (Louisiana LoCo's) logo and am making some for OH and OK. You can see LA's here:

There are restrictions upon what can be done with the Ubuntu logo legally, including the changing of colors beyond official ones, see:

If presented in multiple colours, the logo should only use the “official” logo colours.

ok then please do the state portion in blue with gold stars in the form of the big dipper. Google the Alaska state flag as an example

Trying to get Iowa going - LP team just created. Your logo would look much nicer than my attempt. I hacked one from the Louisiana sample - but it kinda looks hacked (Shading behind the state is wrong.) I've put Iowa flag behind state outline.

If you're still offering your services, I'd really like to see one for Ubuntu-Illinois, and one for Ubuntu-Chicago. For the earlier, I was thinking the image of the state of IL on top of the Ubuntu logo would be great, just as you did for other state locos. For Chicago, I was thinking it would either be great to incorporate the city skyline, or maybe the Chicago Flag: ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Municipal_Flag_of_Chicago.svg )

We were also tossing around the idea of creating custom t-shirts and possibly business cards for loco events, so that may come in handy.

It's always awesome to meet more local Ubuntunites too! You should definitely swing by #ubuntu-chicago if you're on IRC. Also, be sure to visit the Illinois forum here. The Chicago group covers a *wide* area of IL members these days as the IL group is pretty dead as of late :(
