Along with OpenDNS also try Swiftfox I switched to it some week ago when Firefox started to feel too slow it takes like 10 seconds to load it nowadays. Swiftfox is somewhat faster http://getswiftfox.com/ but the fastest is probably Opera according to rumours from "them" they claim hackers have recommended this web browser when it comes to speed.
The only drawback with Opera is that the fonts and html settings makes my website all weird and the bookmarks is hard to get used to compared to FF's and SF's feel and look.
I tried Opera a few days ago and it was in fact slower than Firefox on my laptop. So results will vary from PC to PC.
If Firefox is slow it could be due to to many add ons installed from what I read in another thread
I have at least 10 addons. Hopefully it's only my web development addons that's causing the lag, then I can keep forcing my visitors to use Firefox.
Defenitely, keep making them use Firefox is for their own good :D
