Inroduction

Hello, my name is Chris, I live in Indy, I am totaly new to linux and ubuntu specificly. I have a lot of questions and a few problems.. Trying to run the disk but its not loading after the splash screen and progress bar disappear. I would like to join this indian team if thats possible, i dont know what membership entails but i sure could use some help... Thanks guys Chris Crowe

Does it give any error messages or anything? Please be as descriptive as possible about what happens.

What kind of hardware are you using? Does it have a previous working operating system installed?
