Hi I have installed Xubuntu desktop on an Intel P3 700 MHz machine with 256MB ram. I want to configure dialup networking with an Andhra Pradesh number. I have completed the dial up setup. However, i am not able to run PON as when i open the terminal window it appears for a second and vanishes. It also logs me out of the session and i have to log in again. Can someone please tell me what may be going wrong and how to fix it?

Haha, I was getting ready to post this, so *BUMP*. Only difference is that I don't ever see the terminal, it just automatically restarts X.
Actually, I found the solution, haven't tried it yet so I hope it works.
