Driver needed

My Ubuntu doesn't recognize my ethernet card. I have a Toshiba A50. I've looked everywhere for it, any help plz?

do you know what card it is?

try "lspci", and post any networking related output!

Someone ran Ubuntu on the same laptop, and he didn't have my problem. Could it be that i messed up the installation?

I have the same network card that he has, well obviously :p

I re-installed the system, and it works now. I love it :)
